Farty Bard Singers is a vocal ensemble specially created for the Festival. Opera graduate Alex joins Riana and Graham, both developing their careers through the prestigious Adelaide Chamber Singers program, with Burra based touring folk singers Emlyn and Jodie O’Regan.

Lyrebyrd Consort performs rare and evocative Medieval and Renaissance music on over 40 period instruments. Alongside an ongoing concert program, Lyrebyrd performs in schools and historic gardens and homes, transporting audiences to a bygone age, with weird and wonderful instruments and sounds.

Founded in 2021 by Peta Shannon, Actors’ Studio Adelaide offers classes focusing on developing advanced techniques. The troupe visiting Farty Bard are a mix of professional actors and undergraduate drama students, working and learning together.

Butterfly Theatre was created in 2013 to give opportunities for professional artists to perform immersive theatre in unusual spaces. They have performed in parks, lawns, festivals, pubs and heritage buildings throughout Adelaide and regional South Australia. In 2020 their touring Shakespeare show was nominated for Best Ensemble by the Theatre Association of SA.
